Sending my work to be printed by Calypso was a big step for me. It was the first time I needed prints that were 50 x 85 inches and the first time I had sent any work to an outside lab to be printed. I needed the large format prints for a BRIDGES exhibit at the Bowers Museum in Los Angeles (www.Bowers.org) I had been trying to get a good print using my inkjet printer, but because of my particular color palate -- sepias and neutrals – it was extremely hard to get a print that didn’t metamerise, and that had the DMAX I was used to with silver gelatin. The work Calypso produced was absolutely incredible. I worked together with Mike Chambers to achieve our desired result. Mike was extremely professional and sent proofs up to Seattle at every stage of the way. The final prints were superb. I could not be happier about my experience with Calypso.
