Reflective or transparent scans with custom tonal adjustments.

Your scans are saved in the Ektaspace^™ color space unless otherwise requested, and burned to a DVD at no additional charge.

Drum scans are suggested for projects involving publications, large size output, museum archiving, or when shadow or highlight detail is critical.
Maximum original size 14"x18" and must be able to be wrapped around a drum.

Heidelberg Tango 16 Bit scanning
(8 bit scans available on request)

Drum scanning is now offered as 16bit files at the same price as 8bit files. _What this means is that for the same $39 you paid for a 100Mb 8 bit scan previously you now receive a 200Mb 16bit scan containing 281 trillion total possible colors instead of the 8 bit scan with “only” 16.7 million different combinations. Calypso Imaging's technicians bring you state-of-the-art technology, plus the expertise and the ability to create and manage your projects from start to finish. Our computer artists collaborate with you to blend, manipulate, compose and transform images to match your concepts. Creative work of two hours and more includes a color proof print.

$125.00/Hour; billable in 1/4 hour increments.

Additionally we no longer burn bulk scanns to CDs for free. The process is time consuming and we will now charge $6.00/CD. DVDs are free, drives are $100 for up to 999 35mm mounted slides or 500 other formats. For more than 1000 mounted slides, we provide a free drive or more than 500 other formats we also provide a free drive.
