Workshop Overview:
We want to be able to use our cameras effectively and creatively, and we want to understand digital photography, from choosing a camera to sharing the finished image. This class is for you! We'll simplify all the technology, cut through the advertising hype, and learn a few simple techniques to improve our digital photography.
This class will fill in the blanks in your knowledge about digital photography, from choosing a camera to sharing images with your family and friends. We'll discuss each phase of the digital process, with plenty of time to ask questions along the way as we follow a basic workflow through each of its steps.
We'll start with basic camera features and relate them to the features you might already know in traditional film cameras. You'll learn about everything from memory cards and digital file types to camera options. But we'll concentrate on the essentials, so you'll have the information you need to make your next photography session more satisfying. We'll discuss storing your digital photographs on the road and at home. Then we'll look at options that are available when you decide to share your new images with family and friends.
